Yes, you can renew your membership online if you have signed up for the Pre-authorized Credit Card Program. We'll simply bill your credit card every year - no cheques to write, no stamps to find. Simple and easy

• How do I Join CAA?

You can join CAA a few different ways:

• Join online and save the $12 enrollment fee.
• Call us at 1-800-564-6222 (Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm, Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and Sunday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, ET).
• Visit a CAA store near you. 

• How can I add an Associate Member?

Yes, you can add the members of your household as Associate Members of your account. Associate Members enjoy the same Member benefits that you have for a fraction of the cost.
Associate membership costs vary according to the parent membership level.
And remember, since a CAA membership is associated with the driver, not the vehicle, CAA Members and Associate Members are covered in any car, even if they're just a passenger riding in a friend's car.

• How do I purchase my International Driving Permit (IDP)?

Some countries require travelers to carry special driving permits in addition to their regular driver's license. These International Driving Permits (IDPs) are available in Canada exclusively through CAA (to members and non-members alike).

Each permit costs $15 and requires two current passport photos. To apply for your permit, complete the online application form, or visit your nearest CAA store.
