Emergency Medical Insurance - Daily Plan
This plan is perfect for single trips outside of Canada, or outside your province or territory of residence. Whether you're taking a day trip across the border, a road trip out west or an extended vacation overseas, protect yourself against medical emergencies before you go.
Canadian Government Health Insurance Plans severely limit the amount of coverage you're eligible to receive outside of Canada, and outside of your home province. For Ontario residents, OHIP only covers up to a maximum of $400.00 CAD per day for emergency medical services.

- Applicants Age 55 and over must complete a Medical Declaration to determine plan type and rate.
- This plan cannot be purchased as a Top-Up. If you are looking for Top-Up coverage, choose a Top-Up option.
- This plan must be purchased prior to departure from your province of residence.

Do you take multiple trips in a year? If so, an Annual Plan could be perfect for you. Purchase once and have coverage for multiple trips up to 15 or 30 days in a year.
It's a good idea to protect yourself against unforeseen medical costs anytime you venture outside your province or territory of residence, because Government Health Insurance Plans do not cover all your needs.
