For added security and fraud protection, all MasterCards issued by Bridgewater Bank feature an embedded computer chip, in addition to a magnetic strip. While some merchants continue to rely on signature verification, many merchants and all ABMs now use chip terminals that require you to enter a four-digit PIN to verify your identity. Your PIN will be mailed in advance of your card. You can personalize your PIN at any time by calling the automated attendant at 1-888-612-4375.
In a rush? Use your card's PayPass feature to tap and go! For purchases up to $50 at fast food restaurants, movie theatres, grocery stores and more, simply tap your card on the PayPass reader and you're good to go!
If you like to shop online, help prevent the fraudulent use of your MasterCard by taking advantage of its MasterCard SecureCode feature. This free verification service enables you to register your own MasterCard SecureCode, helping to protect your CAA MasterCard from unauthorized use on participating merchants' sites.
Before your begin, you will need the following information:
- Current address and previous address (if at current address less than 2 years)
- CAA membership number (all 16 digits - no hyphens)
- Current rent/mortgage payment amount
- Current annual income amount
- Credit limit on current credit cards
When you begin, you will be asked for an Invitation Code, click No.
For security purposes, there is a 10 minute time limit to complete the application.

** CAA Dollars are accumulated on your CAA MasterCard based on net purchases made in accordance with the card issuer's (Bridgewater Bank's) CAA MasterCard Credit Card CAA Dollars Terms and Conditions (available for viewing at Bridgewater Bank's website) and are forwarded to your CAA club as described in those Terms and Conditions for crediting to your CAA Dollar account. At the time of your membership renewal, CAA Dollars in your CAA Dollars account will be automatically redeemed towards your membership dues. CAA Dollars have no cash surrender value and cannot be used to purchase CAA Green Power Batteries, Travel Money products, including travellers cheques, insurance products or pay for the CAA MasterCard annual fee. To earn and redeem CAA Dollars, you must be a current CAA Member in good standing (CAA membership dues paid in full by membership expiry date). A lapsed membership will result in forfeiture of any accumulated CAA Dollars.
