Great job, CAA Car Care Centre!
About 18 months ago, we had a horrible experience with a mechanic who charged us a small fortune for what we found out later was work that didn't need to be done! It's so hard to know who to trust... read more.

Today I required service when my clutch on my truck went all of a sudden. I called CAA and was sent service right away...the wait seemed like nothing at all...especially when the tow truck driver (Dwayne) showed up with a postive smile and got me out of the parking lot as fast as possible and down to my garage. I was so impressed that he was both professional and friendly on route there and when we got to the garage even my mechanic was impressed with his service by towing and backing my truck right into the garage. Usually they would just drop the car, but Dwayne did it all to ensure it was right there for my mechanic to be work on! I really appreciated the “at ease” he gave me and that extra mile he went at my destination. Thanks Dwayne from both my mechanic and myself, for making my clutch story into a memorable towing and service experience.

I bought a piece of High Sierra luggage (AT3 Sierra Lite) about four years ago at the Barrie office, and got great service out of it. Recently I loaned it to a good friend who was going to Africa, and thought the back pack option of the luggage, and the soft sides would be ideal, and it was. However during the travels a baggage handler must have forced the pull handle and it snapped off, making it unusable. Upon the return of the lugggage to Canada, I visited the Owen Sound office of the CAA and was very pleasantly surprised when Brenda, an extremely helpful Member Services Consultant, advised me that there was a 5 year warranty on the luggage. She subsequently sent the luggage for repair, and i now have it back as good as new, and at no charge for either the shipping or the repair. Therefore, I commend the luggage manufacturer for honouring the warranty without question, and I thank Brenda for her excellent Customer Service.

Coming home from work on the 401 Eastbound my engine started smoking and I had to call a tow truck. I was a bit hesitant at first about getting a CAA membership and whether or not I would renew it but my experience with the call centre and the tow truck driver has made me a loyal customer for life. When I called in, I got on to an operator right away who was quick, efficient, and generally seemed like a nice person who loved what they did. She even asked me if there were was anyone that I wanted her to call to update them on my status, which I didn't expect as this is totally going the extra mile. My cellphone was charged so I didn't need her to call anyone for me but if it was dying this would've been perfect. The tow truck driver came within the time period they gave me, which was 25 minutes; and he was quick, efficient, courteous, and a very pleasant gentleman. I'm a young female under the age of 25 and honestly I felt like I was treated like royalty. He opened the door for me, adjusted the AC to my liking and kept up a steady banter of conversation. An extra bonus was that his car didn't smell. The 30 minute wasn't awkward or uncomfortable at all, and I felt as if I could relax and just enjoy the ride. I am SUPER thrilled with the experience I received and as I said I will probably be a member for life all because of the two people I came into contact with from CAA. Thank you.

I've been a CAA Member for years, and I decided to buy an Associate membership for my daughter when she was heading off to university last fall. At first, she thought I was being over protective. But now that she's discovered that her CAA membership saves her money on movie passes, ski lift tickets, and on clothes and shoes, she loves it - she's even talked her friends into asking their parents for memberships!

About 18 months ago, we had a horrible experience with a mechanic who charged us a small fortune for what we found out later was work that didn't need to be done! It's so hard to know who to trust.
So, when I recently heard a rattling sound under the hood, I took the car to a CAA Car Care Centre (the list on your website is great). Just knowing that they were CAA-approved made me feel comfortable right away, and the staff took the time to explain everything that they were going to do, before they did it. From here on out, I won't go anywhere else.

As a longtime CAA Member and new business owner, I'm writing to say thank-you! I just started up a small contracting company and one of my biggest worries was insurance. I had so many questions and had heard so many different things, I had no idea what I really needed or who I could ask. Since I had personal CAA insurance, I thought I'd call and see if CAA could help - and, of course, you could and you did. Now I feel like I can focus on doing great work instead of worrying all the time.

My husband and I had been talking about taking a cruise for a while, so for our 20th anniversary, I decided to make it happen. The only problem was, I'd never taken a cruise before... there were so many companies, ships, and destinations, I was totally overwhelmed! While researching, I noticed that CAA offered 'expert travel advice' and so I called and spoke to Sandy. What a lifesaver. She asked about the kind of trip we wanted, and made a several recommendations.
We got back yesterday and I just had to write and say thank-you! It was truly the trip of a lifetime - one I know we'll remember forever.
