Wonders of Jordan

CAA Travel - Wonders of Jordan

This is a wonderful vacation to see Jordan’s highlights. Start in Amman, Jordan’s capital. Next is the rose-red city of Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk down the Siq, the narrow gorge made famous in the movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade; admire the famed Treasury; and sip tea in a Bedouin Tent. On your way to the Dead Sea, stops are made in Kerak to visit the Crusader Castle; in Wadi Mujib; in Madaba to visit St. George’s Church and the Madaba Archaeological Museum; and at Mount Nebo, where Moses saw the Promised Land. From the Dead Sea, an excursion to Jerash, the best-preserved Greco-Roman city in the Middle East, and to Um Quais are included.
