Cash Passport™ Prepaid Currency Card

What is Cash Passport™?

A reloadable prepaid currency card designed for domestic and international travel. Cards can be purchased in any of four currencies (CAD, Euro, GBP, USD) and feature Chip and PIN technology. With their MasterCard branding, these prepaid currency cards will be accepted at millions of ATMs and merchant locations globally. They are also backed by a 24/7/365, multilingual call centre and Global Emergency Assistance program. Cardholders can go online to view their transaction history and obtain cardholder services.

Why would a traveller choose a prepaid card instead of using a regular ATM/Debit card and/or a credit card when travelling internationally?
