How to change your browser settings

Steps for changing your browser settings may vary depending on operating system and browser version.

Internet Explorer 7x - Enable Javascript
  • Click 'Tools - Internet Options'
  • Select the 'Security' tab, then click on 'Custom Level'
  • Scroll down to 'Scripting', then next to 'Active scripting' click the 'Enable' button
  • Click 'Ok' to save the change
  • Click 'Yes'
  • Click 'Ok'
Internet Explorer 7x - Cache Settings
  • Click 'Tools - Internet Options'
  • Under the 'General' tab, click on 'Browsing history'
  • Click on 'Settings'
  • Be sure that under 'Check for newer versions of stored pages:' 'Every visit to the page' is selected
  • Click 'Ok' to save the change
Internet Explorer 7x - Enable Cookies
  • Click 'Tools - Internet Options'
  • Select the 'Privacy' tab, then click on 'Advanced'
  • Make sure that the 'Override Automatic Cookie Handling' and 'Always accept session cookies boxes' are checked
  • Also, make sure that both 'First-party Cookies' and 'Third-party Cookies' are set to 'Accept
  • Click 'Ok' to save the change
  • Click 'Ok'

  • Click 'Tools - Internet Options'
  • Select the 'Security' tab
  • Select the 'Internet' icon
  • Click 'Custom Level' button
  • Under Settings, scroll down to 'Scripting'
  • Beside 'Active Scripting,' click the 'Enable radio' button
  • Click the 'Ok' to save the change
Internet Explorer 6x - Cache Settings
  • Click 'Tools - Internet Options'
  • Select 'Settings' under 'Temporary Internet files'
  • Ensure that under 'Check for newer versions of stored pages,' 'Every visit to the page' is selected
  • Click 'Ok' to save changes
  • Click 'Delete Files' to delete any previously cached files
Internet Explorer 6x - Enable Cookies
  • Click 'Tools - Internet Options'
  • Select the 'Privacy tab'
  • Under 'Settings,' move the slider bar to 'Medium'
  • Click 'Ok' to save changes
Mozilla Firefox 2x - Enable Javascript
  • Click 'Tools - Options'
  • Select the 'Content' icon
  • Check the 'Enable JavaScript' checkbox
  • Click 'Ok' to save change
