For more than 100 years, CAA has been advocating on behalf of our Members and the community to bring about change on many important issues. The information and tools provided within this section can help you get involved and take action to improve your driving, as well as make our roads safer and our air cleaner.
CAA and our history of community action

The CAA School Safety Patrol program is a joint effort between CAA, the police, school boards, teachers, parents and more than 25,000 dedicated student volunteers.
We find it nearly impossible to live without a vehicle but we also know fuel emissions are harming our environment. Find out how CAA and its Members are taking steps to drive greener.
Drop off your used car or marine batteries at participating CAA-approved vehicle repair facilities and we’ll plant a tree.
Learn more about your vehicle’s environmental impact at our free Auto Know Seminars in June and July being held at our CAA Care Care Centres.
