Each year, CAA and the Ontario Road Builder's Association compile a list of the 20 Worst Roads in Ontario - as voted by CAA Members and the general public. Thanks to your votes, the Worst Roads program has spurred government commitment to improve Ontario's roads. In January 2009, CAA's National President Tim Sherman led a team of delegates to meet with Federal Transportation and Infrastructure Minister, John Baird. Our team made a successful pitch for federal government support for cash-strapped municipalities struggling to finance road repairs and other infrastructure initiatives.
Are you frustrated with all the potholes on Ontario roads? Let your voice be heard. It only takes a minute to fill out an electronic postcard to your Mayor, Reeve, Warden or Regional Chair asking them to make repairing the roads and bridges in your community a priority.
"I have nearly collided a few times with drivers trying to avoid bumps and cracks on the road."
