Responsible drivers can save up to 25 percent, depending on the speed, time of day and mileage driven. Households with young drivers, commuters who park their cars during the day to ride on public transit, and those who drive less than average may be pleasantly surprised by the savings offered by the program.

How Does it Work?

A data-gathering device, designed to understand the vehicle's driving behaviour, is easily installed by plugging it into your car.

After 14 weeks, you will be sent an e-mail inviting you to upload the information stored on the device. You can then understand how your vehicle was driven over the specified time period and view your discount, which is based on the data provided.

Submitting the data is entirely up to you, and there is no penalty if you choose not to do so.

Data transfer is easy: disconnect the device from the vehicle, attach the USB cable and plug into a Windows®-based computer. Then download the Autograph software from the Internet and upload the data.

Autograph policies are renewed every six months and your earned discount is then applied to the next six-month period.
