Property Contents Coverage Calculator
Follow the steps below to calculate the amount for which you should be insuring your property. Please note, :
- In the right-hand column, fill in the estimated value for each item. To move to the next room, click next room/floor or click on the floor image above the layout diagram. If you have more than 3 bedrooms, include the values for any additional rooms in bedroom #2.
- When finished, review the Total Insurance Needed amount for which your property should be insured, located at the bottom of the page.
- Print a copy and put a copy in your safety deposit box. Take photographs (or a video recording) of any antiques, jewellery or household items that are especially important to you and store these photos in your safety deposit box, too. Walk through your house recording items.
