Ontario Science Centre

You don't have to be a kid to enjoy the Ontario Science Centre! Since opening its doors in 1969, the centre has amazed and engaged more than 44 million visitors with the wonders of science and technology. Visitors rave about the hair-raising Van de Graaff ball, the indoor TELUS Rain Forest, the CA Planetarium and the amazing IMAX® films shown in the Shoppers Drug Mart® OMNIMAX® Theatre.

It's no wonder that the Ontario Science Centre is one of Toronto's most visited cultural attractions, with hundreds of permanent exhibits, plus temporary touring exhibitions, there's more than enough to pack into one visit. Take an in-depth look at Mindworks, Space, Human Body, Science Arcade and the Challenge Zone, and let the little ones run free in KidSpark, an engaging interactive play area, specifically designed for kids eight and under.

Harry Potter™: The Exhibition Extended to September 6, 2010.

The Ontario Science Centre is the first Canadian venue to host Harry Potter™: The Exhibition.

Immerse yourself in the world of Harry Potter by trying on the Sorting Hat™, pulling a Mandrake from its pot in the Herbology vignette, and playing a game of Quidditch™ as you experience elaborate settings such as the Gryffindor™ common room, Hagrid's hut and the Great Hall.

You'll also come upon authentic artifacts from the movies-including Harry's wand and glasses, the Marauders' Map, Professor Dumbledore's robe and more!

Visitors will experience dramatic environments inspired by the Harry Potter film sets and see the amazing craftsmanship behind more than 200 authentic costumes and film props.
