Highlights and inclusions

Volcanoes

Poas Volcano, one of the most active volcanoes in the Central mountain range and renown for spectacular geysers. Picture perfect Arenal Volcano is famous for its exploding lava shows and is considered one of the ten most active volcanoes in the world.

Jungles

La Paz Waterfalls, a birdwatchers paradise set amidst a lush tropical rainforest. Also known for waterfalls, butterflies and flowers. Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge & Jungle Cruise offers an up close opportunity to see the birds, monkeys, mammals and reptiles that reside in and along the Rio Frio. Arenal Hanging Bridges are situated on a bird migration route and provide a safe and beautiful walk thru a dense rainforest.

Beaches

Manuel Antonio National Park, well known for its wide beautiful beaches, green mountains, and rainforest, is also a haven for troop monkeys and numerous other mammals. Puntarenas, central to exploring the many beautiful beaches along the Pacific coast.
