Ireland - Discover the Emerald Isle

Ireland - Discover the Emerald Isle

Wild and rugged landscape, a fascinating and diverse history, traditional Irish music and friendly people make Ireland a magical place, and a must-see destination. From Dublin we travel south over the Wicklow Mountains to Kilkenny, Ireland’s premier medieval city. Travelling through the rich pasturelands of Munster, we discover why Ireland is called the Emerald Isle. Visit the picturesque village of Blarney and shop for Irish handcrafts. Tour the Ring of Kerry, reputed to be the most scenic 100-mile drive in Europe. Around every turn lies a new and wonderful view of mountains, lakes, and hidden harbours. View the mighty Cliffs of Moher, where the spectacularly tall, sheer faces of the cliff overlook the Atlantic Ocean.

We end our tour in Dublin, where you can explore both the medieval heritage and history of ‘old’ Dublin and the trendy restaurants and bars of one of Europe’s most cosmopolitan cities. The Irish people are known for their ability to have ‘the craic’ (a good time) and so will you on our final evening as we enjoy dinner followed by some lively Irish entertainment. Your journey to the Emerald Isle will leave you with memories that last a lifetime.
