- Cairo - capital of Egypt and a bustling city of contrasts. Cairo captives with its spectacular museums, ancient tombs and temples. Standing sentry over the city is the most famous of the ancient burial sites, the magnificent Pyramids of Giza and the iconic Sphinx.
- Temple of Karnak - called the 'most select of places' by ancient Egyptians. It is the combined achievement of many ancient builders spanning 1300 years and is the largest complex of temples ever built.
- Temple of Hathor - one of the latest Egyptian temples and extraordinarily well preserved. The temple was dedicated to Hathor, wife of Horus.
- Temple of Luxor - massive complex renown for the 'Avenue of Sphinxes', colonnades, friezes, courtyards and statues.
- Temple of Hatshepsut - Egyptian Queen who called herself "King of Upper and Lower Egypt". Nestled against a wall of rock, the temple rises in three elaborately decorated terraces.
- Valley of the Kings - resting place of more than 60 pharaohs, including the mysterious boy-king Tutankhamun
- Temple of Kom Ombo - dedicated to Sobek the crocodile god, and Horus the falcon-headed god. It combines two temples in one with each side having its own gateways and chapels.
- Petra - rose-red ancient treasure located in a spectacular setting deep inside a narrow desert gorge. Wonders include tombs, temples and exquisite monuments.
- Dead Sea - so rich in salt and minerals that no life form can exist yet renown for its buoyant and therapeutic water.

| Day 4 | Fly to Luxor, Cruise the Nile, Dendera Visit the Temple of Karnak in Luxor. Begin embarkation on the River Tosca. |

| Day 15 | Petra Enjoy a full day visit of Petra including a horse ride. |
| Day 16 | Petra, Dead Sea 4 x 4 Jeep ride at Wadi Rum the red desert. Visit the Dead Sea and spend time at the beach. |
| Day 17 | Early drive from the Dead Sea to Amman. Fly to Cairo to connect for return flights home. |
