  • Amsterdam: Enjoy a canal cruise. Visit a diamond-cutting factory and the Rijksmuseum. Orientation shows us the Tower of Tears, Dam Square and the 'Skinny Bridge'.
  • Volendam: Excursion to this village to visit a cheese farm and wooden shoe workshop.
  • De Haar Castle: Visit the magnificent gardens.
  • Maastricht: Visit this fortified city.
  • Bastogne: Stop at the American Memorial Battle of the Bulge.
  • Luxembourg: Sightseeing includes the Cathedral of our Lady of Luxembourg and the Grand Ducal Palace. Plus visit the grave of General George Patton.
  • Orval: Stop at the Cistercian Abbey.
  • Mons: Orientation seeing the comical belfry.
  • Bruges: Sightseeing including the Grand Place, Basilica of the Holy Blood plus a cruise along the canals.Visit the Lace Centre.
  • Gent: Orientation includes the 'Three Towers of Gent' and the Castle of the Counts of Flanders.
  • Brussels: Orientation includes the Atomium, Grand Place, Royal Park and Palaces, Japanese and Chinese Pagodas and the Manneken Pis.

  • Day 1: Overnight flight to Amsterdam
  • Day 2: Amsterdam: Welcome to Amsterdam! After check-in, time to relax. Later, meet your Tour Director and fellow travelers for a Welcome Drink and tour briefing in the hotel.
  • Day 3: Amsterdam: First we explore Amsterdam on a canal cruise in a glass-topped boat. Then we have a guided visit of the Rijksmuseum before visiting a diamond-polishing factory. Later, an excursion to Volendam with a cheese and clog-making demonstration.
  • Day 4: Amsterdam/De Haar Castle/Bastogne/Luxembourg: This morning we drive to Haarzuilens to visit the magnificent gardens of De Haar Castle and then on to Maastricht. We continue into Belgium and Bastogne site of the Battle of the Bulge. We stop at the American Memorial. Then to the Duchy of Luxembourg.
  • Day 5: Luxembourg: Our guided walking tour features the breathtaking gorge of the Rivers Alzette and Petrusse, the Cathedral and the Grand Ducal Palace. Then we visit the grave of General George Patton before we have time to explore.
  • Day 6: Luxembourg/Dinant/Mons/Bruges: First a stop at the Cistercian Abbey of Orval. Then we continue to the birthplace of Adolphe Sax, inventor of the saxophone, before heading into Flanders and on to Bruges. Our Highlight Dinner is at a local restaurant.
  • Day 7: Bruges: Our walking tour includes the main town square, then we take a cruise along the picturesque canals and visit the Lace Center. The rest of the day is free.
  • Day 8: Bruges/Gent/Brussels: Our tour of Gent includes the Three Towers, then we travel on to Brussels where we enjoy our Highlight Dinner tonight.
  • Day 9: Brussels: Our Tour Director shows us the Atomium, the Royal Palace, the Japanese Pagodas, the Grand Place, the Mannekin Pis and a fascinating Hidden Treasure!
  • Day 10: Brussels/Antwerp/Rotterdam: First to Antwerp then across the impressive Zeeland Bridge and on to Delft and the Rhine River Port of Rotterdam. Tonight we enjoy a Farewell Dinner with our Tour Director and newfound friends.
  • Day 11: Rotterdam/Amsterdam/Canada: Bid farewell as our vacation comes to an end. Airport transfers are available, conditions apply.
