Our tour to Vietnam will take you to places you'll surely never forget! The north with its breathtaking scenery of Halong Bay will leave you speechless. Hue, in the center, with its Perfume River, and the south, Ho Chi Minh with its Mekong Delta and the famous Cuchi tunnels used during the war, will definitely make this the most memorable of all your travels!

  • Day 1-2: Canada Departure: Depart from Canada to Hanoi.
  • Day 3: Hanoi: Arrive in Hanoi, city of lakes, shaded boulevards and public parks. Transfer to your hotel.
  • Day 4: Hanoi: Today, your visit will include Hoan Kiem Lake in the city center, the Temple of Literature dedicated to Confucius, and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. After lunch, visit the One-Pillar Pagoda built by Emperor Ly Thai Thong to look lie a lotus blossom, and drive by the Opera House and St. Joseph's Cathedral. From the lake, begin exploring the old quarters by rickshaw through the narrow alleys and shop houses, also know as "the 36 streets". Visit the history museum (may be replaced by the Ethnology museum) and return to your hotel. Evening welcome dinner.
  • Day 5: Hanoi/Halong: Morning departure for Halong Bay. After check-in on your "junk" boat, start cruising amongst thousands of islands emerging from the Gulf of Tonkin. Visit Dinh Huong and Ga Choi islands and Songsot cave (or similar). Dinner onboard.
  • Day 6: Halong/Hanoi/Hue: Breakfast onboard. Continue to cruise in the morning before your departure by road to Hanoi airport for your flight to Hue. Arrive and transfer to your hotel.
  • Day 7: Hue: Visit the Old Imperial City modeled after the Forbidden City of Beijing, the Thai Hoa Palace, and the Halls of Mandarins. Enjoy a leisurely boat ride on the Perfume River and visit the Thien Mu Pagoda. Continue cruising to the Imperial Tomb of the Minh Mang, a majestic complex of courtyards, pavilions and temples.
  • Day 8: Hue/Dangang/Hoi An: Take the scenic rout to Hoi An with spectacular landscapes and mountains. Stop in Danang and visit the Cham Museum. Pass by China Beach and the Marble Mountains before arriving in Hoi An.
  • Day 9: Hoi An: Enjoy a rickshaw ride through the cobbled streets to see the central market, and the harbor. Visit a private house and its traditional setting. Continue to the Japanese covered bridge, built by the Japanese community to link the town with the Chinese quarters across the stream.
  • Day 10: Hoi An/Danang/Ho Chi Minh/Can Tho (Mekong Delta): Transfer to Danang airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh. Arrive and transfer by road to the Mekong Delta region of CanTho.
  • Day 11: Can Tho/Mekong Delta/Ho Chi Minh: Morning departure and boat trip to the floating markets of Cai Rang and Phong Dien (the best in the Mekong Delta). Return to Can Tho by car and then Ho Chi Minh. Evening at leisure.
  • Day 12: Ho Chi Minh: Begin your tour with the historic city center. Pass by City Hall and the old Opera House (outside views only). Visit Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. Afterwards, dive into modern history with a tour of the Reunification Palace, formerly the Independence Palace of the South Vietnamese presidents. Continue to the harrowing War Remnants Museum. After lunch, head out to Cholon (China town) and visit the Jade Emperor Pagoda and the Giac Lam Pagoda. Visit the Binh Tay Market and the Ben Thanh Market.
  • Day 13: Ho Chi Minh/Cuchi/Tay Ninh: Depart for Tay Ninh, the birthplace of the unique Cao Dai religion, a fusion of Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, Christianity and Islam. Visit the Caodist Grand Temple. After lunch, visit the Cu Chi tunnels used during the Vietnam War, with 200km of underground galleries, an arms factory, living quarters, rural hospitals, kitchens and command centers. Return to Ho Chi Minh in the afternoon.
  • Day 14: Ho Chi Minh/Canada: Your journey comes to an end. Transfer to the airport for your flights home.
