  • Day 1 Toronto/Guatemala City: Fly to Guatemala City. Welcome by our local representative and transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
  • Day 2 Guatemala City/Atitlán: Breakfast at the hotel. Morning water transfer to Lake Atitlán to visit Santiago Atitlán, famous for Maximon, a character widely worshiped by the inhabitants also offering a variety of handicrafts, colourful textiles, woodcarving and naïf paintings. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
  • Day 3 Atitlán: Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Chichicastenango, the most colourful and picturesque market in Guatemala, where every Thursday and Sunday locals from the region gather to buy and sell fruits, vegetables, flowers, grains, animals, textiles and handicrafts. Visit the Santo Tomás Church, where the Maya-Quiché pray to their gods according to old Mayan traditions. In the afternoon, transfer back to Lake Atitlán. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
  • Day 4 Atitlán/Antigua: Breakfast at the hotel and morning transfer from Lake AtitlÁn to the colonial city of Antigua. Stepping in Antigua is like stepping back in time with its cobblestone streets, sprays of Bougainvillea bursting from crumbling ruins, pastel facades under terracotta roofs, parks with fountains and a dramatic setting surrounded by three volcanoes: Agua, Fuego and Acatenango. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
  • Day 5 Antigua: Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy your day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
  • Day 6 Antigua/Copán: Breakfast at the hotel. Early in the morning transfer to Copán, Honduras, one of the most impressive archaeological sites in the Mayan world, and has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Copán represents a sophisticated architectural style and a unique art of stone carving. Visit the main plazas, complexes and monuments. Overnight accommodations at Marina Copán Hotel.
  • Day 7 Copán/Livingston: Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer back to Guatemala. On route, visit the archaeological site of Quiriguá, a site covering approximately 3 square km along the lower Motagua River, sharing its architectural and sculptural styles with the city of Copán. Transfer to Puerto Barrios for water transfer to Livingston. This is the only town in Guatemala where African Caribbean Culture has survived with all its tradition since the first settlers came at the end of 15th century. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
  • Day 8 Livingston/Flores: Departure from Livingston to Río Dulce for transfer by land to Flores, Petén. Dinner and overnight at Villa Maya Hotel.
  • Day 9 Flores/Guatemala City: Morning transfer to the Tikal National Park for a sightseeing tour of one of the largest archaeological sites and urban centres of the pre-Columbia Maya civilization. Here, discover a multitude of awe-inspiring pyramids as well as tombs, monuments, temples and palaces amongst the surrounding jungle. After lunch, transfer to Mundo Maya Airport to board your flight to Guatemala City. Transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
  • Day 10 Guatemala City/Toronto: Transfer to the International Airport of Guatemala City to board homebound flight.
