On the Boardwalk
The Boardwalk has been called the heart, soul and backbone of Atlantic City. Originally built to control the problem of too much sand, the current Boardwalk is 60 feet wide and 6 miles long. Maintaining the original city ordinance, all hotels, restaurants and shops are situated on one side of the Boardwalk with the Amusement Piers on the other side. Exciting development along the Boardwalk includes the fabulous Pier Shops at Caesars with over seventy eight specialty stores and seven feature restaurants. If you tire of shopping head to the third floor with panoramic floor to ceiling windows where you can kick back in Adirondack chairs to enjoy the best sunset views in the city.
