Adventures by Disney

Adventures by Disney

Travel with Adventures by Disney and let us share the world's stories with you. It starts with our amazing Adventure Guides, thoughtful hosts who help immerse you in the true stories of your destination. And then there are the destinations themselves, some of the world's best places. And of course, the experiences you'll share will be beyond your wildest dreams. All with the high quality and service you know you'll get with Disney.

  • Days 1 & 2: In Cape Town, ride an aerial cableway to the top of Table Mountain for an inspiring, privately guided nature walk. In the evening, enjoy a festive dinner celebration at the 17th-century Castle of Good Hope.
  • Day 3: Visit the Cape of Good Hope, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans collide. Then it's on up to the lighthouse for a spectacular panoramic view. Lunch is in charming Simon's Town. There, you'll get an up-close look at a colony of African penguins sunning themselves on Boulder Beach. For dinner, enjoy authentic African cuisine and culture - including a class in African drumming and a visit to the Gold of Africa Museum.
  • Day 4: Travel to the heart of Cape Dutch wine country for a hands-on, private cooking class hosted by the renowned Institute of Culinary Arts, followed by a scenic bike ride to the Spier Wine Estate. While the adults sample local wines, Junior Adventurers have an encounter with African eagles and other endangered birds of prey.
  • Days 5 & 6: Fly from Cape Town to Knysna, where you'll visit a primate sanctuary and walk freely among monkeys. In Knysna, explore the Featherbed Nature Reserve - including a privately guided hike along the cliffs of Knysna Heads for a spectacular view of the sparkling Indian Ocean. Tonight, dine alongside a herd of elephants and their young in the forest setting of Knysna Elephant Park.
  • Days 7, 8, 9 & 10: Journey into the South African bush for a safari where luxurious spa suites, open air jeeps and private expeditions await your arrival at Kapama Private Game Reserve. During six separate game drives, track the “Big 5” - lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and cape buffaloes, while encountering giraffes, zebras, hippos, warthogs and other familiar faces along the way. Rise before dawn to witness the big cats returning from a night of hunting as the glistening sunrise illuminates the wilderness around you. Spend your days learning the ancient art of archery, crafting African beads with a Zulu elder and experiencing a hands-on wildlife encounter hosted by a local reptile expert. Then, as the sun sets over the savanna, head back into the bush to hear this untamed world echo around you with nothing but the night sky and a spotlight to guide your way. Bid farewell to your adventure with a South African celebration under the stars featuring traditional cuisine, drumming, dancing and singing.
