  • Day 1: Canada departure
  • Day 2 Tunis: Upon arrival in Tunisia, assistance and transfer to your hotel in Tunis for accommodation and dinner.
  • Day 3 Tunis/Carthage/Sidi Bou Said/Kairouan: Departure to Carthage which was destroyed by the Romans in 146 B.C. and later reconstructed. Visit the Antonin thermal baths constructed under the Roman Emperor (138 - 161). Continue to Sidi Bou Said. Stroll at leisure in this ancient and picturesque town. Later proceed to Tunis, the capital of Tunisia, and explore its medina, the souks. Visit the National Museum of Bardo, one the most important in Africa, housing prestigious mosaic collections and archaeological pieces.
  • Day 4 Kairouan/Sbeitla/Gafsa: Departure for the visit of Kairouan, the holy city of Tunisia. Visit the Grand Mosque and the Mosque of the Barber which, according to legend, has conserved 3 hairs of Mohammed’s beard. Admire the pond of Aghablides, a 7th century relic, as well as the city’s colourful souks. Continue on to Sbeitla to visit the imposing ruins of Ancient Sefultura in Sbeitla and the different Temples dedicated to the gods Jupiter, Minerva and Juno. Proceed to Gafsa and visit the centre of the city.
  • Day 5 Gafsa/Tozeur: If time and availability allows it, this morning will begins with an optional excursion ($) on the Lezard Rouge (the red lizard), a tourist train that takes you for 45 minutes through the most beautiful scenery of the mountains. Before lunch, continuation to the Tozeur oasis and its 20 villages. Rest of the day at leisure or an optional excursion ($) in 4 x 4 to the oasis of mountains Tamerza and Chebika ($).
  • Day 6 Tozeur/Chott El Jerid/Douz: Crossing of the Chott El Jerid, the immaculate white salt desert where mirages are not uncommon. Arrival in the dune land of Kebil. Continue on to Douz where you will make a stop at the sand dunes of the Sahara Desert for an optional dromedary ride ($).
  • Day 7 Douz/Matmata/Gabes/Sfax: Continuation for Matmata for a visit of a troglodyte underground) house. These houses are totally adapted to their environment are constructed like craters in the middle of the desert. Lunch. Next stop in Gabes, where the souks named “Jara” will really introduce you to the Tunisian way of life. At the end of the afternoon continue on to Sfax.
  • Day 8 Sfax/El Jem/Monastir/Port El Kantaoui or Hammamet: Visit of Sfax with its grand Medina one of the largest of Tunisia. Departure for El Jem for the visit to the area’s well preserved
  • the Roman Coliseum. Lunch. Continuation on to Monastir to admire the Ribat, an ancient Arabic fortress, as well as the Bourguiba Mausoleum. After a stop at the Port El Kantaoui marina, continue to your hotel in Port El Kantaoui or Hammamet to the Beach resort of your choice.
  • Day 9 to 14 Seaside resort: Stay at leisure at the hotel of your choice. During your stay, you will meet our representative. Many optional excursions are available.
  • Day 15 Tunis: Transfer to the airport in Tunis for your return flight back home.
