Some countries require travellers to carry special driving permits in addition to their regular driver's license. These International Driving Permits (IDPs) are available in Canada exclusively through CAA (to members and non-members alike). Each permit costs \$25 and requires two current passport photos. To apply for your permit, complete the online application form, or visit your nearest CAA store.

Yes; however, the use of two (2) service calls will be used, as AAA will provide service to the Canadian/United States border from which CAA will provide service to your desired destination in Canada.

Yes, you can renew your membership online via My-Account. You can also sign up for the Automatic Credit Card Renewal program. We’ll simply bill your credit card every year, saving you time and ensuring you are always covered.

Don’t worry, you are still covered! A CAA Membership follows you, not your vehicle. That means CAA Members have coverage whether driving, or as a passenger – even in a rental vehicle.

Yes, your CAA Membership provides Roadside Assistance coverage in Canada and the United States! Services provided will be based on Membership level. Should you require service, please call 1-800-222-4357, or *222 from your mobile device.

Please note, motorcycle services differ when travelling in the United States for Plus Members only. Dues are required at the time of service. Reimbursement is made through CAA.
