A new seasonal attraction that pays colourful tribute to the earth’s scenic landscapes and wildlife transforms Québec City into full bloom this summer.

From June 24 to October 10, Parc du Bois-de-Coulonge becomes a living art gallery featuring more than 200 life-sized topiary displays and spectacular botanical installations. Part horticultural exhibition, part ecological statement, Mosaïcultures Québec tells the story of life on earth through breathtaking sculptures inspired by this year’s theme: Once Upon a Time…The Earth! (Il était une fois…la Terre).

Created with six million individual flowers and plants, the mesmerizing outdoor event takes place along the banks of the Saint-Lawrence River.

View large-scale floral sculptures depicting animal species from land, sea and sky that showcase the beauty of the natural world. They’re also designed to remind visitors how fragile life is on earth and the importance of preserving our flora and fauna.

Five themed exhibits

The breathtaking garden experience features five thematic displays situated along an accessible 1.5 km walking trail. The exhibits include the Lieutenant Governor’s Residence, The Polar and Marine World, Endangered Species and The Farm.

A dedicated garden allows visitors the opportunity to learn more about the rich history, life and culture of the contemporary and ancient peoples of the Huron-Wendat Nation who occupy the surrounding St. Lawrence Valley region.

Environmentally-friendly values
