CAA is always innovating ways to ensure peace of mind for Members, including when they’re on bikes with CAA Bike Assist®. Here’s what one Member shared about her experience with Bike Assist®.

“My husband and I were enjoying a hot August day, riding our bikes on a country road – until my husband’s ebike suddenly slowed to a crawl. Luckily, I remembered reading in CAA Magazine that CAA also services ebikes. About half an hour after I called, CAA arrived with a trailer. The driver picked us up and drove us home. I feel better knowing that if we run into this problem again, we can always call CAA.”

Across Canada, cycling is on the rise. A recent Member panel survey found that almost half of CAA Members cycle to some degree – up 3% from 2020. To support those in pursuit of a greener, active lifestyle, CAA includes Bike Assist as part of its roadside services – because even people on two wheels may need a helping hand.

For those who use their bikes to get to and from their jobs, Bike Assist ensures they have peace of mind when riding. For leisure cyclists, the service is also valuable, especially for those riding with kids because CAA drivers can service children’s bicycles. For cyclists on ebikes, Bike Assist covers not only repairs but also tows.

Rely on CAA for bike issues big and small.

If you’re out on a ride and end up with a flat tire or need another repair for your bicycle, CAA will send a driver to your location. Whether it’s a conventional bicycle or an ebike, the driver will do their best to get your bike back to road-ready condition and see you off safely. If a repair can’t be completed on the spot, you can count on CAA to transport you and your bike to the nearest repair facility or within the towing distance allowed by your CAA Membership level.
