Daily itinerary.

Day 1

Halifax – Upon arrival to Halifax, meet your kilted tour director. Along the way to your hotel, take in an overview tour of Halifax. Hear stories of the Halifax explosion and the city’s role in the recovery operations after the Titanic disaster. This evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant. D

Day 2

Halifax – Travel the South Shore to Mahone Bay continuing to Lunenburg. Take time to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later, travel by private boat to the small community of Peggy’s Cove with its nostalgic fish sheds and colourful fishing boats. Return by coach to the hotel. B

Day 3

Halifax – Morning at leisure. In the afternoon, attend a performance of the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo. Experience military bands, pipes and drums, gymnasts, dancers, military displays and competitions all under one roof. B

Day 4

Halifax – This morning, tour the oldest and largest maritime museum in Canada, The Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. Later today, enjoy your Extraordinary Experience: a private tour of Pier 21. Pier 21 is Canada’s last remaining ocean immigration shed. This evening, celebrate Canada Day with a private viewing of the fireworks at the hotel. B/S

Day 5

Enjoy your last morning in Halifax. This afternoon, transfer to the Halifax Airport for your flight home to Toronto or Winnipeg. B
