Why do I love being a Travel Consultant?

I love seeing my clients' eyes light up when they tell me about their experiences from the trips I helped them arrange. I have a passion for travelling and experiencing different cultures, trying new foods and meeting people. I especially enjoy recording my trips and sharing photos and videos with my clients and friends.

My top travel picks.

I like to be surprised. Some destinations always offer more experiences than you would expect – even on repeat visits. Here are some pictures from the places that have had an impact on me in my travels. If you like what you see, give me a call or come in and see me, and let's arrange an adventure for you!

Tent Bay.

Barbados is a wonderful island in the Caribbean. Famed for its variety of beaches – from tranquil calm shores for relaxing in the sun to rugged and wavy for surfing – this is a great pick for adventure seekers. The island is surrounded by beautiful coral reefs, also making it a great spot for snorkelling and scuba diving.

Insider tip: Be sure to visit the northern part of the island. This area is one of the most scenic in the region with rolling hills, mountains and craggy cliffs reminiscent of the Scottish Highlands – a total surprise for the Caribbean.

Peru is another amazing country to spend some time in because it has such friendly people and so many beautiful landscapes to explore. Of course, while you're there, you simply must see Machu Picchu. This historic site more than lives up to the legend – you won't be disappointed.

Insider tip: Machu Picchu tends to be the most crowded between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., as this is when most train and bus visitors arrive. You will have more opportunity to explore – and take the best pictures – if you can get to the site early in the morning or later in the afternoon.

The Galapagos Islands.

The Galapagos Islands aren’t like any other place in the world. It actually makes you feel like you are on another planet. With pristine beaches, wildlife that you won't see anywhere else, and all locally sourced food, it is truly a one-of-a-kind place to visit.

Insider tip: On the island of Isabela, you can hike around Sierra Negra, the world's second largest volcanic crater. It's an unforgettable day trip!
