Visit the land of Vikings and volcanoes, waterfalls and wild sagas and chase the northern lights across the wondrous island of Iceland. From the colourful capital of Reykjavik, to rugged coasts and verdant valleys, Iceland has lured visitors for centuries. Begin with a plunge in the geothermal Blue Lagoon and a visit to the Viking Museum. Travel the Saga Valley and climb a volcanic crater. Visit black sand beaches, mighty waterfalls and creaking glaciers. Try fermented shark – if you dare - or freshly baked hot-spring bread, before spending your evenings scanning the sky for the dancing aurora borealis.
