Discover Iceland, land of fire and snow. From smouldering volcanoes to towering cliffs, endless greens to black sand beaches, explore an island nation that spans two tectonic plates and throbs with geological wonder. Take a tour of Reykjavik, soak in the Blue Lagoon and sample traditional cheeses. Visit the original Geysir after which all geysers were named, and the oldest surviving parliament in the world. Marvel at some of the country’s 10,000 waterfalls and visit moonlike vistas, rhyolite mountains, lava formations, fjords, canyons, glaciers and lagoons. Head out on a midnight sun whale watching tour; photograph seals, puffins and wildflowers; keep an eye out for reindeer and Arctic foxes, and maybe even spy a troll straight from an Icelandic saga.
