Why do I love being a Travel Consultant?

I love being a travel agent because I can help people fulfill their dreams and their bucket lists. Whether it's someone's first time travelling, a couple going on their honeymoon, or a family taking a vacation together, helping to make it special for clients is very rewarding. I love to see their faces and hear their voices when they realize they're really going.

My top travel picks.

Some of my most memorable trips have been the travels I've done right here in Canada. From the Rocky Mountains to the wonderful beaches and seaside towns of the Atlantic provinces, there is just so much to explore and discover right here in our own country. Here are some pictures of my favourite spots to visit.

  • Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick, Canada
  • Prince Edward Island Prince Edward Island, Canada
  • Smithers Mountain, British Columbia Smithers Mountain, British Columbia, Canada

Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick.

Canada

There are so many wonderful sites to see and things do in the Maritimes. You can stay in a tree house fit with plumbing and electrical needs, sleep in a lighthouse or stay in a B&B, and the resorts are just stunning.

Insider tip: The Bay of Fundy has the world's highest tides. At low tide, you can walk on the ocean floor which was 13 meters deep below the surface just hours before.

Prince Edward Island.

Canada

For great beaches, fresh-caught seafood and some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet, PEI is one of most charming spots in Canada for a summer vacation.

Insider tip: Some accommodations on the coast come with their own private beaches – and the waters of the Gulf of St. Lawrence are warmer for swimming than the open Atlantic.

Smithers Mountain, British Columbia.

Canada

The Rocky Mountains are a place that I think every Canadian should visit at least once in their lifetime. The majesty of this national treasure is sure to inspire you any time of year.

Insider tip: Take the Rocky Mountaineer, a luxury train ride through the mountains to see the spectacular scenery in comfort and style.
