Why do I love being a Travel Consultant.

I have a wanderlust spirit. One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing the world. My job allows me to share this view of the world with others.

Cusco, Canchis.

Peru

Peru is my all-time favorite destination. Known as the cradle of ancient civilizations, Peru has a topography that makes it a great country for adventure. Trekkers, surfers and explorers will have the time of their lives in this diverse and fascinating country, though every traveller can benefit from experiencing Peru.

Insider tip: Visit the Huaca Pucllana in Lima, the only restaurant I know of where you can dine beside a pyramid.

Lisbon.

Portugal

Portugal is laced with medieval castles, walled cities, beautiful beaches and wineries in the north. Each city and town offers its own distinct look and feel. Lisbon is vibrant and beautiful. Sintra is a delightful town that can be visited on a day trip. The common thread throughout Portugal is the great food and friendly people.

Insider tip: Wear comfortable shoes. You’ll want to do a lot of walking.

Basel.

Switzerland

Rhine river cruising is a relaxing, scenic, tranquil way to see the Netherlands, France, Germany and Switzerland. Just a few highlights of cruises on the Rhine include Amsterdam, The Black Forest of Germany; Strasbourg, France; Basel, Switzerland and Neuschwanstein Castle, in Bavaria.

Insider tip: Do this cruise in the spring or fall, as the summer can get really hot. In spring, the Dutch tulips are in full bloom.
