Why do I love being a Travel Consultant?

I love being a travel consultant because I thrive on helping people plan fantastic vacations and discover new locations. This is a great job for people who love to be constantly learning, always meeting new people and making new friends. What could be better than that?

My top travel picks.

My favourite trips are to warm places with lots of sun and fun activities to do. That is why I love Florida, Cuba and the Caribbean, especially. Here are some pictures of my favourite places to visit. Maybe they can inspire you for your next trip. If so, I'd love to help you plan it!

  • Varadero, Cuba Varadero Beach, Cuba
  • Playa Del Carmen, Mexico Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico
  • Orlando, Florida Orlando, Florida, USA

Varadero Beach.

Cuba

I have visited Cuba at least 15 times and I always recommend it to people who haven't been. The people are friendly and welcoming wherever you go, the culture is fascinating and there are some of the best beaches in the world.

Insider tip: Varadero has some of the nicest beaches you'll ever see. There is a hop-on, hop-off bus service for exploring all of the local shops, markets, restaurants and cafes in this resort town.

Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo.

Mexico

Another favourite vacation spot for me is the Mayan Riviera on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. This region has Cancun, Playa del Carmen and much more. You'll find ancient ruins, exciting nightlife and fantastic beaches.

Insider tip: Take the Rio Secreto excursion, an amazing experience to explore a newly discovered network of semi-sunken caves and tunnels.

Orlando, Florida.

USA

Orlando is famous for its many world-class theme parks, such as Universal and of course, Walt Disney World, making it a fantastic place to visit. Because the popular attractions draw so many travellers each year, the region has also built up a dynamic array of shopping and dining options for every taste.

Insider tip: Orlando can also be your base for exploring the nearby beaches and fascinating Florida landscapes. Take an airboat ride through the swamp and see live alligators!
