Why do I love being a Travel Consultant?

I love what I do, because the work is always interesting and fun. Plus, best of all, I get to help people. My job is to speak with happy, excited clients and to help make their dream vacations come to life. It doesn't get any better than that.

Paris.

France

If you enjoy art and history, I highly recommend checking la Louvre Museum in Paris. The architecture alone is beautiful. Plus, it is home to the famous Mona Lisa. Make sure you get there early if you'd like to see her up close, it gets really packed!

Insider tip: Going up the Eiffel Tower is a great way to see all of beautiful Paris from above. If you'd like to learn more about the beautiful tower, I highly recommend hiring a tour guide to teach you all about its architecture and history.

Marrakech.

Morocco

The city of Marrakesh is beautiful! The historic market square in the centre of town is called the Jemaa El-Fna. Vendors sell beautiful traditional Moroccan textiles, pottery and jewellery. I also recommend the Majorelle Garden – a beautiful botanical garden filled with exotic plants and fountains.

Insider tip: If you shop in the markets, be prepared to haggle. You're not being rude by disputing the price, it is how business is done. Offer a low price and be prepared to come up a little, so that everyone feels they've gotten a good deal on the transaction.

Juanillo beach.

Dominican Republic

With its warm Caribbean waters and beautiful white sand beaches, the Dominican Republic is a great spot for a beach getaway. Plus, there are tons of adventures from scuba and snorkelling excursions, to RV tours through the jungle and swimming in freshwater cenotes.

Insider tip: Chocolate was invented by the Mayans in this part of the world. I recommend taking a tour of the cacao plantation to see how they make the traditional cacao drink and to sample the chocolates!
