Torr Head.

Ireland is amazing. The food, culture and landscapes are out of this world. Enjoy fascinating historical sites, stunning scenery, awe-inspiring cliffs, rolling hills and lush greenery. This is a place I would return to again and again to keep exploring.

Insider tip: Irish cuisine once had a reputation for being dry and uninteresting, but those days are long gone. In Belfast and Dublin, you’ll find high-end global cuisine and endless options for delicious, traditional Irish fare. Get a hearty Ulster fry for breakfast in Belfast or dine on fresh-caught seafood in coastal areas. For a meal on a budget, head to local pubs and cafés like the locals do.

Santiago de Cuba.

I adore the Cuban culture… and the beaches! Cuba is a spectacular place to eat, wander and explore. Tour historic Old Havana, visit an old 17th century citadel at Castillo de San Pedro de la Roca, enjoy some live music or see a cabaret at the Tropicana Club.

Insider tip: Always carry some cash. Cash is king in Cuba and you should never rely on credit or debit cards. Cash machines are scarce and not all banks can process foreign currency transactions.

Greece is an incredible hub of ancient history, art and philosophy. Enjoy vibrant, bustling cities, quiet coastal towns and picturesque islands. Tour ancient ruins, enjoy museums and sites, and dine on some of the best food you’ve ever eaten. I can’t say enough great things about Greece.

Insider tip: Make restaurant reservations ahead of time during the peak period of July – August. After the sun goes down, travellers flock to the restaurants situated in breathtaking and romantic areas. Planning can make a big difference.
