Why do I love being a Travel Consultant?

I love being a travel agent because I get to research and visit places I have never been before. I then share the information I gather with my customers to help them discover new and wonderful places. Every day is an adventure and I love it!

My top travel picks.

I had a long bucket list of places that I absolutely wanted to visit in my lifetime. Fortunately, my job has allowed me to travel widely and cross many of them off already. Here are some photos of my favourite spots. Hopefully they’ll inspire you to make your own list of must-see destinations.

Rotorua, Bay of Plenty.

New Zealand

My trip of a lifetime was to Australia and New Zealand. The adventures were endless, from sky diving, deep sea diving, whale watching, exploring caves and many more. You can discover miles of powdery white beaches, Maori culture, hot springs, deserts, mountains and rain forests. For me, it was the ultimate experience.

Insider tip: Explore the Whitsunday Islands off the east coast of Australia. Pack a lunch and spend the day on Whitehaven Beach - there are no roads, no cars and no stores.

Barcelona, Cataluna.

Spain

Spain is full of iconic cities to explore. My favorite parts are Grenada, Alhambra and Barcelona. With the nicest climate on Earth, you just can’t go wrong exploring the beautiful Spanish countryside along the Mediterranean Coast.

Insider tip: Don't miss the Basílica de la Sagrada Família in Barcelona. This historic building was designed by renowned architect, Antonio Gaudi, and is unlike anything else you're likely to see. Pre-purchase your ticket with a line-bypass to beat the crowds.

Cliffs of Moher, Liscannor.

Ireland

With its dramatic coastlines, rolling green hills and quaint villages and towns, Ireland is a wonderful country to explore. Castles dot the landscapes, and legends and folklore are waiting to entertain you at every stop along your journey. I had a great time there.

Insider tip: You must see the Cliffs of Moher while you're in Ireland. This 14 kilometres of towering rocky coastline has appeared in numerous television shows and movies and makes for a fantastic backdrop for some unbelievable photos.
