Why do I love being a Travel Consultant?

I love making travel arrangements for CAA Members. It’s wonderful to hear afterwards about the great experiences and the ever-lasting memories that were created on their travels. Sharing in this is my favourite part of the job!

Napoli.

Italy

One of my greatest travel experiences was a trip to Italy. The culture is rich, the food is delicious, the landscapes are stunning and the cities are vibrant. One of the best ways to experience Italy is on a Mediterranean Cruise. Make sure to see the Amalfi Coast. It’s spectacular.

Insider tip: Visit the Amalfi Coast in late spring or early fall to avoid the massive tourist crowds and to get better deals on hotels.

ABC Islands.

Kingdom of Netherlands

A cruise in the ABC islands of Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao is an incredible experience. The small island of Bonaire is known for some of the best scuba diving in the world and has some of the best snorkeling I’ve ever done! The better-known islands of Aruba and Curacao are also gorgeous.

Insider tip: Take an amazing picture of a pink lake and the salt pyramids at Bonaire’s Salt Pans. These are stunning at sunset. Visit the pink flamingos at Gotomeer, a saltwater lagoon.

Negril.

Jamaica

Negril is the perfect place to vacation. This resort town is a paradise, with gorgeous beaches, plenty of fun activities, delicious food and great nightlife. Negril has some of the most beautiful beaches to discover, including the Seven Mile Beach, a stretch of sand nearly seven miles long.

Insider tip: Everyone gathers on the beach to watch the sunset. Or catch one from Rick’s Café, one of the most famous hot spots in Jamaica. Rick’s sits at the top of a 35 foot-high cliff where you can watch (or take part in) some crazy cliff jumping.
