Acropolis 11.

Athens, Greece

Greece is amazing. When in Athens, you must visit the Acropolis to see the Parthenon and the Theatre of Dionysus. Follow this with a walk through the Plaka to enjoy some delicious food or do some shopping. Take the time to see some of the Greek Islands. Mykonos is known for nightlife, fine restaurants and its famous windmills. People come to have fun, party and people watch. Santorini is known for its spectacular views and whitewashed buildings.

Insider tip: Watch the best sunset on the island of Santorini from the village of Oia.

Taj Mahal.

Agra, India

India is breathtaking and the sheer number of things to see and do is overwhelming. A first visit should include the Golden Triangle: Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. Visit historic Delhi, Jama Masjid, the Great Mosque, the Sikh temple of Gurudwara SisGanj and Humayun’s Tomb.

The highlight in Agra is, of course, a visit to the Taj Mahal. Jaipur is known as the Pink City. It is home to the Amber Palace, the Palace of the Winds and the City Palace.

Insider tip: Be sure to arrive at the Taj Mahal early to catch an incredible sunrise.

Machu Picchu.

A wonderful and popular destination in South America, Peru is full of adventures and discoveries. Visit the colonial city of Cuzco, enjoy the local cuisine in Lima and hike the Inca Trail (or take a bus) to Machu Picchu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This ancient Incan Citadel is magical, a must-see bucket list destination. If you’re lucky, you’ll get a photo with a llama in the background!

Insider tip: Advance booking is mandatory to hike the Inca Trail. Hire a local guide or join a tour.
