Ireland is one of my favorite places to visit. I have family there and one of the big perks is that they can show me all the hidden gems that tourists often miss. So, I get to see the tourist attractions, and also get a real insider look at the culture, food, festivals and traditions. Then I can pass these secrets on to my clients! The scenery is breathtaking, from the rolling hills, to the many castles, to the coast. There is always so much to take in and the people are incredibly friendly.

Insider tip: The weather can, and will, turn on a dime, so wear layers and carry an umbrella!

Ponta Delgada, Azores.

Portugal is an incredible and gorgeous country, and Ponta Delgada in the Azores is an absolute gem. The capital city of the Azores archipelago, on the island of San Miguel, is an amazing experience. You’ll find a 16th-century fort, old churches and historical sites adjacent to natural wonders like the Lagoa das Sete Cidades, a twin lake that sits in the crater of a dormant volcano.
Ponta Delgada’s delicious food and relaxing atmosphere will make this one of the most enjoyable experiences of your life.

Insider tip: The Pico de Carvao is a popular lookout spot where you can see both the north and south coasts of the island and panoramic views of the landscape.

Everyone should see Australia. There is something there for everyone, including gorgeous beaches, great food, fascinating animals, entertainment and the rugged outback. The people are very warm, english is the main language, and their way of living is very similar to North America so travelers don’t have to worry too much about culture shock. Be sure to visit The Great Barrier Reef. It’s the largest living thing on earth and is even visible from outer space!

Insider tip: Don’t miss Daintree National Park. The Greater Daintree Rainforest is more than 100 million years old and most likely the oldest rainforest on the planet. Be sure to take a guided ‘Night Walk’ through the forest.
