I'm an expert in: Jamaica, North America.
Why do I love being a Travel Consultant?
I have always believed in the quote “The world is a book, and those who do not travel only read one page.” I love being a travel consultant, because this position allows me to experience much more than just that one proverbial page. I get to help people see the best places in the world, and that makes me very happy.
My top travel picks.
Here are just a few pictures of places that have inspired me in my own travels. Check them out and then give me a call or come in and see me. Let's start arranging your next great vacation.
We took a road trip through the western United States and Canada, and one of the most striking places we visited was Vancouver Island. A natural beauty with lush old growth forests, hiking trails, and endless beaches, this area is also a cultural treasure with a rich indigenous heritage and thriving arts scene.
Insider tip: Vancouver Island is said to be haunted. You can take a ghost tour to hear the spooky tales, visit the sites of famous hauntings and just maybe spot a ghost.
New York City.
You don't even have to be a big city lover to fall for New York. This city has so much culture. I loved walking through the museums and Central Park, recognizing so many famous places from favourite TV shows and films, and sampling the diverse street foods. It's a fascinating place to visit.
Insider tip: Take a few pictures in front of the iconic Times Square signs, and then get out of there! It's crowded and touristy, but within just a few blocks you'll find authentic New York delis, food trucks and ethnic foods from around the world.
Harbor Ocho Rios.
Jamaica is truly the most welcoming place on earth. I've visited Jamaica twice and fallen in love with the beaches, sunsets and friendly locals. The food, music and culture are mesmerizing. I am always happy to come back to Jamaica – and highly recommend it to clients.
Insider tip: As attractive as the beaches are, be sure to tear yourself away and visit some of the famous Jamaican waterfalls. Dunn's River Falls in particular – with 55-metre terraced waterfalls that you can climb – is worth the visit.
