Why do I love being a Travel Consultant?

I love to customize bookings to each person’s needs and help turn vision into reality. Time is precious and your trip should be perfect. Whether it’s airfare only or a trip around the world, the variety is what makes my job exciting. As well, I love to travel myself and experience the world.

My top travel picks.

I’ve been lucky to see some wonderful places and I definitely have my favourite destinations. Take a look at a few of those. I hope they inspire you. Where do you want to travel to?

Little Dunn's River Beach.

Jamaica

I’ve been to Jamaica 15 times and still want to go back! I specialize in Jamaica as I love the culture and have travelled the island extensively. The food is great, the locals at the resorts are super friendly and English is the spoken language so there a great comfort level in communicating. Chow down on jerk chicken, sip Blue Mountain Coffee, take a tour of the Appleton Estate Rum Factory and marvel at Dunns River Falls. It’s all there in Jamaica!

Insider tip: Visit the Bob Marley Museum in Kingston. It is actually the reggae legend’s former home.

Cliffs of Moher, County Clare.

Ireland

Ireland is wonderful! There’s beautiful scenery, lush greenery, warm and friendly locals and plenty of history and culture. Visit the Cliffs of Moher, Ireland’s most visited natural attraction, kiss the Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle and tour the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin. There’s something in the Irish air that makes you believe in magic.

Insider tip: When visiting the Cliffs of Moher, if the guides say it’s windy and not to wear your hat, don’t! (if you do, you won’t see your hat again). It’s officially the windiest place in Ireland.

London.

England

I love the excitement and sophistication of London. It’s a vibrant city full of culture and history, museums, art, attractions, theatre, great food and more. Go to Buckingham Palace and watch the Changing of the Guard, a display of military pomp and circumstance, featuring a marching band, that generally takes place on alternate days of the week. Don’t forget to confirm the details as the dates and times can change and sometimes there is no music or ceremony.

Insider tip: Ride the London Eye, a massive Ferris wheel, to get an incredible, panoramic view of the city.
