Community Action

Our Commitment to Social Responsibility

As Canada's largest CAA club, our goal has always been to be a leader in social responsibility amongst the CAA federation and within our industry. Our commitment to uphold ourselves to the highest ethical standard drives everything we do and is reflected within these four distinct pillars:

Environment:
CAA strives for a more sustainable business model by constantly challenging itself to reduce its environmental footprint. It takes into account initiatives that touch the physical landscapes which help make up communities where its Members live. CAA remains conscious of its impact on the planet and continually works to reduce it. Helping sustain the places we live is the goal.

Market Place:
As the place where CAA comes face-to-face with Members, it is essential to ensure that its social responsibility activities are aligned. CAA not only offers our Members more options and products that are more environmentally friendly, but it aims to make the receipt of all of its services - whether booking travel online, obtaining an insurance quote over the phone or a visit to one of our Car Care Centres more convenient and simpler to do.

Community:
Improving the communities where we do business is CAA's ongoing responsibility, and the notion of “giving back” is one which it takes very seriously. All business lines from Travel and Insurance to Roadside Assistance continue to weave themselves into the fabric of the communities where both our Members and our Employees live and play. Playing a significant role in the continual improvement of our communities is a part of all that takes place at CAA.

Employees:
Developing a socially responsible organization starts and ends with CAA SCO's over 1,200 Employees. Continuing to build a respectable, safe and engaging workplace where Employees can develop, grow and help meet the needs of our Members is what CAA strives to maintain. Only through more Employee successes can CAA truly give the most back to our Members.

Adhering to these pillars in all that we do is what keeps us accountable to the people that matter most: our Members. It is our Members who keep us focused on initiatives today, so that we can all enjoy a better tomorrow.
