Will your luggage pass the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority pre-board security screening for carry-on baggage? Read below to find out how to pack before you arrive at the airport.
Permitted carry-on items: Liquids, aerosols and gels in containers 100 mL (3.4 oz.) or less. These containers must be placed in one (1) clear, closed and resealable plastic bag no larger than one litre (one quart). One plastic bag is permitted per guest.
Non Permitted carry-on items: Liquids, gels or aerosols in containers larger than 100 mL (3.4 oz.). Unsealed or opaque plastic bags of any size with liquids, gels or aerosols in containers of any size.
Items exempt from restrictions (these items must be declared to security screeners): Baby formula, baby food, and milk for persons travelling with children two years of age and under, and prescription and essential non-prescription medicines. These items do not require a plastic bag, but may require additional screening.
