CAA offers a wide variety of membership services to get your vehicle into a drivable condition. If attempts are unsuccessful, your towing service benefit applies.
If your battery runs down and your vehicle won't start, your battery will be boosted in an attempt to start your vehicle.
Your battery will be tested to determine if the problem is battery related. Battery Service can, if necessary, install a new battery.
If your keys are locked inside your vehicle, service will be sent to open it. If your keys are lost, broken or the service provider cannot open your vehicle, locksmith service (or reimbursement for locksmith service) will be provided, up to:
A supply of gasoline will be delivered to your disabled vehicle to enable you to reach the nearest open service station. (Specific brands or octane cannot be promised.)
If your vehicle's spare tire is inflated and serviceable, it will be installed to replace a flat tire. If no inflated spare is available, your vehicle will be towed according to your towing benefit.
Your vehicle will be extricated/winched when it can be reached safely from a normally travelled road. If special equipment, additional manpower or additional vehicles are required:
Minor mechanical adjustments not requiring parts or supplies can be made in an attempt to get your vehicle moving safely under its own power.
Your personal cheque for up to $400 will be accepted by any independent contract facility providing emergency services or emergency repairs for Members. A valid membership card must be presented at the time of payment. The name on the cheque must match the Member name.
If attempts to make your vehicle operable at roadside have been unsuccessful, free towing will be provided. Your vehicle will be towed free of charge to a facility of your choice, up to:
