If it is not reasonably possible for the Insured to contact CAA Assistance, someone else must call on his or her behalf or the Insured must call as soon as reasonably possible.
Failure to contact CAA Assistance will limit the benefits payable to the Insured to:
You will be responsible for the payment of any remaining charges.
Notice: If the Insured pays eligible expenses directly to a health service provider without prior approval by CAA Assistance, these services will be reimbursed to the Insured on the basis of the Reasonable and Customary Costs that would have been paid directly to such provided by the Insurer. Medical charges that the Insured pays may be higher than this amount, therefore the Insured will be responsible for any difference between the amounts he or she has paid and the Reasonable and Customary Costs reimbursed by the Insurer.
You must substantiate your claim by providing the documents described in the applicable Insurance coverage(s) below. (The Insurer is not responsible for charges levied in relation to any such documents.)
