Which will you love more: wandering through charming Niagara-on-the-Lake or visiting the many fascinating attractions near the famous falls?

Itinerary

Day 1

The Niagara peninsula comes alive with a different kind of energy in the winter months.

Begin your journey in charming and quiet Niagara-on-the-Lake, where you may just feel like you’re starring in your own Christmas movie. This is the perfect destination for wine lovers who want to sample the delicious icewine from local vineyards.

Meander through quaint local shops or see a show at the Shaw Festival Theatre. Choose to spend the night in a charming inn or head to Niagara Falls for the evening.

Day 2

A day in Niagara Falls is a must if you are visiting later in the winter. That’s when the great falls are frozen over and are magically illuminated each evening.

Warm up in the Butterfly Conservatory, partake in an indoor sugar bush experience at Maple Leaf Place or take one of the new tours of the Niagara Parks Power Station.

Don’t miss the Festival of Lights between November and February – an awe-inspiring experience for the whole family.
