Bermuda is an island paradise where rich history, diverse cultures and exceptional natural beauty meet. Whether you're going to soak up the sun, take in a game of golf, indulge yourself with a luxurious spa treatment or shop in the many fine stores and markets, you can be sure that there's never a dull moment in this small, tropical paradise.

Bermuda is a British overseas territory located just off the east coast of the United States. Although commonly referred to as a single country, The Bermuda Islands are comprised of 138 islands with a total land area of just 53.3 square kilometres. Bermuda has a highly affluent economy and boasted the world's highest GDP per capita in 2005.

Although Bermuda's latitude is similar to that of Savannah, Georgia, Belize is warmer in the winter months and cooler during summer. The Gulf Stream carries warm, humid air eastwards over Bermuda, helping to keep the winter temperatures above freezing. Though temperatures during the summer months rarely exceed 30°C, the high humidity has a definite impact on the heat index. Winters are mild, with average daytime temperatures in January and February usually around 20°C, though strong winds can easily make it feel like a 1°C day in Ontario.
