When booking an inspection online, we request your contact details in case we need to reach you before the inspection date. For example, if the date or time changes for any reason, we would advise you of alternative choices.
To cancel your appointment, call the inspecting garage directly, or call CAA at 1-866-464-6448. There is no cancellation fee.
Our certified technicians perform a 139-point inspection of the key components and systems of your vehicle. Upon completion, they will provide you with a confidential vehicle assessment report that describes the overall safety, efficiency, and reliability of the vehicle. Each technician uses the industry-accepted standards, along with the Ministry of Transportation Motor Vehicle Safety Standards to assess each of the 139 points in terms of whether it passes inspection, requires the usual maintenance, or needs urgent attention.

The Notes field of the online booking form is optional. However, if you feel that there is any information about your vehicle that would help the technician to perform the inspection, we encourage you to provide it. The inspection will always cover the same 139 points of your vehicle (and cannot be extended to include other areas that you specify).
The Make and Model choices that we provide are only meant as a guideline and don't represent the complete list of vehicles that we inspect. Therefore, if you don't see your vehicle in the list, please describe its make and model in the Notes box. The only limiting criteria we have for the inspection is that the vehicle must be no more than ¾ ton and cannot have a dual rear wheel system.
