Paved road. The Loyalist Parkway (Highway 33) has wide paved shoulders, but there are hilly slopes on County Road 13. Speed limit is 80 km/h. Caution is needed.
Difficulty Level: Easy to moderate
Description: Most of Prince Edward County’s terrain is flat, which makes cycling a great way to explore the countryside’s spectacular fall colours. The scenic vistas from Lake on the Mountain Provincial Park, picturesque grounds of the Waupoos Estates Winery and the white sand dunes and beaches at Sandbanks Provincial Park are a photographer’s paradise.

Not only will cyclists experience the beauty of fall, but they’ll also have opportunities to enjoy wine and cheese tastings, too!
