The beautiful Turks and Caicos Islands are situated some 60 kilometres southeast of the Bahamas. Covering 500 square kilometres of the Atlantic Ocean, the Turks and Caicos islands have one of the longest coral reefs in the world, making them a premier diving destination.

Trade winds ensure that the islands maintain a comfortable warm temperature, which varies little between winter and summer. Temperatures hover between 29°C and 32°C between June and October, dropping only a few degrees in winter. The water is almost as warm as the air. The westerly islands have a high annual rainfall and hurricanes are possible between June and October but, on average, the islands have 350 days of sunshine a year.
