Why do I love being a Travel Consultant?

Travelling is one of my passions in life. Being able to assist others with planning their trips is very rewarding especially when they share their adventures and pictures when they come back.

My all-time favourite place that I have visited is Morocco, North Africa. The culture is so diverse, and the country is so beautiful. Morocco is known for providing travelers with unique cultural experiences from museums to mosques, souks (marketplaces) to its traditional, delicious cuisine.

My top travel picks.

From the history of Casablanca to riding camels in the desert to the beautiful landscape, Morocco has something for everyone.

Casablanca Mosque.

Morocco

The Hassan II Mosque or Grande Mosquee Hassan II is a mosque in Casablanca, Morocco. It is the largest Mosque in Morocco and the 5th largest in the world.

Insider tip: Shoes are not worn in the Mosque and you must be covered from shoulders to below the knees.

Atlas Mountain Range.

Northwestern Africa

The Atlas Mountain Ranges extend 2,500 km across northwestern Africa – Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia. This is one of the most spectacular drives with its winding roads and beautiful desert views.

Insider tip: The drive up is not for the faint-hearted. Some experience with driving on mountain roads is advised.

Sahara Desert.

Morocco

Visit the Sand dunes near the Morocco-Algeria border in the Sahara Desert and take in the beautifully wind-formed peaks while riding a camel.

Insider tip: Make sure you pack a hat or headscarf to block the sun and dust and a jacket for the cooler nights in the Sahara.
