Yes, any person living in your household can join as an Associate Member. They will enjoy the same great Member benefits that you have for a discounted price.

And remember, since a CAA Membership is associated with the person and not the vehicle, all CAA Members (except A la carte) enjoy Roadside Assistance coverage whether as a driver or passenger – even in a rental vehicle!

Can I renew my membership online? 
Yes, you can renew your membership online via My Account. You can also sign up for the Automatic Credit Card Renewal program. We'll simply bill your credit card every year, saving you time and ensuring you are always covered.

How do I sign up for Ebill?

I'm driving a new vehicle. Does this mean I need to change my membership?
Don’t worry, you are still covered! A CAA Membership follows you, not your vehicle. That means CAA Members have coverage whether driving, or as a passenger – even in a rental vehicle.
Am I covered while travelling in the United States? 
Yes, your CAA Membership provides Roadside Assistance coverage in Canada and the United States! Services provided will be based on Membership level. Should you require service, please call 1-800-222-4357, or *222 from your mobile device.

Please note, motorcycle services differ when travelling in the United States for Plus Members only. Dues are required at the time of service. Reimbursement is made through CAA.
If I move within Canada, does my CAA Membership move with me?

I have a complaint about the insurance service I received. Who can I speak to? 

At CAA, we have a very defined escalation process to ensure that our customers have every possible recourse should underwriting, pricing, sales, claims or service issues arise. Every customer is welcome to request a transfer or return call from a Senior Agent or Supervisor on an arising issue.

At any time, a customer may choose to escalate their call to the Customer Complaints Office or Office of the Ombudsperson. The Ombudsperson Officer is a paid associate of CAA who is charged with viewing every case with an objective eye. 

The Customer Complaints Office is in place to ensure the decision is fair, equitable, and developed within company standards. Customers must first attempt to resolve their complaints directly with their insurance company before accessing the Office of the Insurance Ombudsperson.

How do I purchase my International Driving Permit (IDP)? 
Some countries require travellers to carry special driving permits in addition to their regular driver's license. These International Driving Permits (IDPs) are available in Canada exclusively through CAA (to Members and non-members alike). Each permit costs $25 and requires two current passport photos. To apply for your permit, complete the online application form, or visit your nearest CAA Store.

Can I receive towing service from the United States to Canada? 
Yes; however, the use of two (2) service calls will be used, as AAA will provide service to the Canadian/United States border from which CAA will provide service to your desired destination in Canada.

Please note, services provided will be based on membership level.
My vehicle is currently in a repair facility. Can I have it towed to another location?
Your CAA Membership does not cover service to a vehicle already in a place of repair.

However, if the current facility is unable to provide repair, an exception may be made to provide towing services to another facility. Please note, services provided will be based on membership level.
I am a former CAA South Central Ontario Member who wants to purchase a membership; however, I have received an error message notifying of an existing account. What should I do?

Do you offer a senior’s discount? 
Unfortunately, we currently do not offer a discount for our senior Members.

Members who reach 50 years in tenure receive a special thank you gift in recognition for their exceptional loyalty.

Also, Members can join our Automatic Credit Card Renewal program and receive a one-time $10.00 discount towards their current membership renewal.
